PTFE Coatings on Anodised Surfaces

PTFE coatings provide a low friction surface that is an ideal treatment to Hard Anodised parts which are subject to friction loads.

Once applied and cured, the PTFE fills the pores in the metal forming a low friction surface that repels water.

Applications of PTFE Coatings on Anodised Surfaces

Common applications include machinery parts, precision instruments and camera lens bodies. In the latter applications PTFE coatings also improve the 'feel' and appearance as well as reducing 'finger marking' and the risk of scratching.
