POTASSIUM DICHROMATE SEAL

Potassium Dichromate seal is the Industry Standard for Maximum Corrosion Resistance. It may be applied to Hard or Natural Sulphuric Anodised components. Applying to a Natural finish will give a Specific Mustard yellow colour as can be seen from the inset photo.

Dyeing

Applying to a Black Anodised finish may sometimes give a slight Yellow/Greenish tint, but generally it is negligable. Generally Dichromate Seal is not recommended for Decorative Coloured items as colours are affected as though being mixed with Yellow eg. Blue will come out Green Etc.for full Specification or samples please do not hesitate to contact us.

Applications

Potassium Dichromate Seal is widely used in the Aero-space, Military, Rail and Marine sectors giving excellent salt spray resistance to component parts. it can be applied as a single seal or followed by a second Hot Water seal to further enhance and maximise its qualities.
